From 2008 to 2016 in Greenpoint, one address served as the home to a number of important independent record labels - Bayonet, Captured Tracks, Cascine, Flying Nun, Mexican Summer, RVNG Intl., Sacred Bones and Software. Operating out of Suite 221 at 67 West St., each label worked to establish its particular point of view on modern music while supporting the larger creative community in North Brooklyn they were part of. This December the original lease holder, Mexican Summer, decided not to renew the contract on the space and the labels have parted ways.

To acknowledge the years together and the value of community in independent art, the labels have compiled a special mix that includes select catalogue cuts plus unreleased tracks by Frankie Cosmos, Yumi Zouma, and Widowspeak. All proceeds will benefit victims of the Oakland Fire (bit.ly/2glZTvM).
